Describe your overall thoughts on the final piece.
I had a fun time doing the game drawing because we where able to play the games and then put the picture in perspective. I think I learned a lot from this art peice because it was so different from what I expeirenced before.
How successful do you feel this piece is and why?
I feel my work was successful in understand how to use gradation, blending, overlapping, value, highlights, and shadows. All of which I learned from other projects we did before the game drawing. We had to use blending on the Ipad and Mrs. Rossi stresses shadows to three demensional figures give them a perspective.
What worked about this project? What didn’t work?
What worked with this project was by using colored pencils to make the perspective drawing come out to the person who was looking at it. In perspective drawings that is a big key if a person is looking for perspective they would want to see what makes the picture different from others which can be the shadows or the use of the horizon and vanishing points.
If you were to do this project over again, what changes would you consider making?
I would have tried to make sure I was more careful when using my washes and as Mrs. Rossi on how to use the paint brushes and how much water I needed to use. I would have hoped to get a better grade on the art that I did but I understand that I didn't make my art as well as I could have
What was the most difficult part about completing this piece and why?
The part that was most difficult was that fact that I wasn't used to water colors so I didn't know how to use them to make them lighter or how to make an area darker. I learned from the other projects before this one that places where light is not showing it should be darker but when I tried that I might have used too much water or too less.
What did you learn from this piece?
I had a fun time with this project I was able to understand all the key concept you have to know is vital to having a a good peice of art. I learned how to use water color and perspective can be expressed in many different forms.
